Privacy Policy

The short version

We store the little we need to run your account and your papers. We do not sell anything about you, we do not run advertising, and this site sets no tracking or analytics cookies.

What we collect

When you sign up: your name, your email address, your centre's name and its city. Your password is stored only as a salted hash, never as text anyone could read.

When you generate a paper: the settings you chose and the list of questions the paper drew, so History can show it again and your next paper can avoid repeating it.

When you pay: Razorpay's order and payment identifiers and the date. Card, UPI and bank details go to Razorpay directly and never reach our server.

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs, including IP addresses, used to keep the service up and to rate-limit sign-in attempts.

Why we are allowed to hold it

To provide the service you asked for, to take payment for it, and to keep it secure. We do not use your data for anything beyond running qpkit.

Cookies

One cookie signs you in and keeps you signed in. One remembers which class and subject you were last working on. That is all of them. Neither follows you anywhere else, and there are no third-party cookies on this site.

Who else sees it

Brevo sends our email -- your sign-up code, receipts and expiry reminders -- and so handles your email address.

Razorpay takes payment and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Our server runs on Oracle Cloud infrastructure in India. Nobody else is given your data, and it is never sold or rented.

How long we keep it

Your account and its papers stay while your account exists. Backups are kept for 14 days and then deleted.

Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its papers. Write from the address on the account and we will act within 30 days.

Deleting the account deletes its papers too, so download anything you still want first.

Children

qpkit is sold to teachers and centres, not to students. We do not knowingly collect anything about a child. Papers carry no student names and we hold no student data at all.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for anything that matters, email subscribers.
